Labour Leadership Candidates Might Not As Yet Be Playing Topless Darts For Your Entertainment But I Will Still Report On the Leadership Election Campaign So Far

So Jess Phillips has now officially withdrawn from the 2020 Labour leadership election, saying she wasn’t the leadership candidate who’d be best able to unite all factions of the Labour Party & then take Labour’s message to the country. Jess you’re in fact wrong about not being able to unite the Labour party as you’ve pretty much united the Labour grassroots in opposition to you. I heard former Labour leadership candidate Liz Blairite Kendall when appearing on BBC Politics Live say in response to Jess Phillips woeful performance at the leadership hustings in Liverpool this past weekend that it was unfair to have expected Jess to have been substantive on policy, oh so the chairperson at the leadership hustings should have asked Jess who was seeking to lead the main opposition party in this country & thus essentially the government in waiting, what colour socks does she prefers wearing or have political journalists ask her what’s her favourite variety of ice cream? Yes I realise Jess Phillips has a personality, in fact she has oodles of personality, which no one will doubt is a positive as I’m sure it’s endearing for many people, but we need somebody as Labour leader who’s a bit more then a gobshite when it comes to cold hard politics, yes Boris Johnson endears himself to people with his whole lovable roguish buffoon act but he seriously lacks an eye for detail the consequence of which has contributed to an innocent British woman to be locked up in an Iranian prison.

Jess Phillips

I’ve heard various complaints that the current Labour leadership election lacks personality & fizz to it & all in all has been pretty fucking boring. I don’t know what people expect, the candidates contesting the Labour leadership election answering questions on a future Labour government having an integrated transport whilst playing a game of topless darts or answering questions about implementing a Green New Deal whilst playing a round of crazy golf with a washing up glove on their head & having to squawk like a chicken when they miss a shot. The Labour leadership election isn’t some chavvy lame arsed reality TV gameshow here to entertain you, it’s about discussing the serious day to day politics which will affect us all, sure I’ve complained myself about this leadership election campaign being so far somewhat lacklustre, but it was never going to have the fizz & zing that the 2015 Labour leadership election had with Corbynmania & Liz Kendall who if I hadn’t known was a Labour MP I’d have thought was running to be Tory leader with the stuff she was saying.

Labour leadership hustings in Liverpool

Now Jess Phillips has dropped out of the Labour leadership contest, I guess all eyes will turn on Emily Thornberry who’s the other candidate many pundits thought wouldn’t make it through the second round of nominations & onto the final ballot. Yes Emily Thornberry does have a history in being somewhat of a gobshite prone to making gaffes but whereas Jess Phillips’s performance at the recent hustings in Liverpool was shite, I heard some passionate fire from Emily when tackling questions on hot topic issues, plus Emily unlike Jess has frontbench experience & who just loves to remind us all she’s held 7 different frontbench position & has stepped in for Jeremy Corbyn at Prime Ministers Questions. Though she might not have secured any endorsements from trade union affiliates, I’d imagine her campaign strategy has always been to get the requisite number of nominations from Labour Constituency Parties to get onto the final ballot & well after her performance at the weekend she has started to receive nominations from a growing number of CLPs & I don’t think its beyond the realm of possibility she’ll get the required 5% of CLPs backing her for her name to be on the final ballot.

Emily Thornberry

Keir Starmer already has his name on the final ballot to be Labour leader after securing endorsement from two trade union affiliates, but the question I currently have about Keir is am I the only reckons he looks like marionette out of Thunderbirds? I was a little surprise to find out that Journalist & economist & Northern Soul devotee Paul Mason is backing Keir Starmer to be leader considering Paul’s politics are very much to the left even more so then myself & well just about everything Keir Starmer has been saying has been decidedly Blairite when he’s not playing to the gallery. I actually have a great deal of respect for Paul Mason being both an economist & journalist myself (if somewhat hampered by dyslexia) & I actually having something of the hots for Paul as he does seem to be a bloke’s bloke, but I wondering if Paul is backing Keir because he genuinely thinks Labour need to move to the centre ground of politics to have any chance of getting elected back into government or if he’s angling for a job as an adviser if Keir is elected Labour leader?

Keir Starmer

I see Keir was again playing to the gallery at the hustings in Liverpool with him saying he wouldn’t give an interview to The Sun during the leadership election campaign, obviously that’s going to play well to a crowd in Liverpool considering The Scum’s appalling coverage of the Hillsborough Disaster, but it’s a somewhat manipulative statement from Keir as it doesn’t rule he won’t give an interview to The Scum if elected Labour leader.

Lisa Nandy

Lisa Nandy has now joined Keir Starmer on the final leadership ballot after getting the endorsements of both the GMB & NUM unions & the more I hear from Lisa Nandy the more I like Lisa Nandy. Some on the Labour left were putting it about she was a ‘Red Tory’, but from what I’ve been hearing from her I’d say that assessment is bollocks. At the Liverpool hustings she said there had been a schism between how people in London & people up north interpreted Labour’s proposed Green New Deal which was part of Labour failing to properly communicate stuff to the electorate during the GE2019 campaign, the fact Lisa Nandy is able to detect that being an issue tells me she not only has a good deal of insight but has a good deal of insight from having listened to people. The other thing which has also impressed me about Lisa Nandy in past week is she’s handled herself well when under fire in interviews with both Andrew Neil & Piers Morgan. Lisa Nandy appears to be a candidate who has both a personality & can deliver the goods on policy when up against it, if I hadn’t already publicly endorsed Rebecca Long-Bailey, I’d have endorsed Lisa Nandy.

Rebecca Long-Bailey

Rebecca Long-Bailey seems to fast becoming the forgotten candidate in this Labour leadership contest, okay there was that story circulating the other day about her personal views on abortion, yeah maybe she does have moral objections to abortion but she’s not proposing to make abortions illegal so where’s the fucking problem? Jimmy Carter was personally opposed to abortion but as both governor of Georgia & US president supported a woman’s right to choose, it pretty much sounds like possibly being the same deal in regard to Rebecca Long-Bailey, Jimmy Carter is one of the most underrated US presidents as far as I’m concerned & as far as I’m concerned Rebecca Long-Bailey could be a great Labour leader & a great Prime Minister, she’s confident & competent & she’s saying all the right things, but where is the zing & kapow in her leadership election campaign. It’s not as if I’m expecting belly dancers & a laser light show at her rallies, but it really feels as if her campaign hasn’t got going even if she has the support of Labour activist group Momentum who were so instrumental in getting Jeremy Corbyn elected Labour leader. I know that I’m viewing a great deal of this Labour leadership contest through the prism of the mainstream news media who are decidedly biased against Rebecca Long-Bailey, but the mainstream news media were biased against Jeremy Corbyn during the 2015 Labour leadership contest yet did pick up the huge wave of support for him. Momentum really need to drum up some momentum behind Rebecca Long-Bailey because as it currently stands she hasn’t as yet gotten any endorsement from any trade union affiliates & has around the same number of nominations from Labour Constituency Parties as Emily Thornberry, could it be Rebecca Long-Bailey the official candidate of the left might not make it onto the final ballot in the Labour leadership election?

Time Soph Wrote About The Scottish National Party & Scottish Independence

Very much to my own detriment as a political commentator I didn’t pay as much attention to the Scottish National Party as I ought to have during the 2019 General Election campaign because I knew full well that if Labour had any hope of getting into government they would have had to rely upon the support of Scottish National Party MPs, in fact overall I didn’t even write half as much about the 2019 General Election as I did about the 2019 European Parliamentary elections however seriously fucking up my knee at an anti Trump protest in London during the GE2019 campaign had a great deal to do with this.

Well thankfully my knee is now healing nicely & though I might not so far have paid as much attention to the Scottish National Party as ought to have on this here blog of mine, it’s not as if I’ve been short changing the SNP attention when it comes to the Twitterverse where I did repeatedly tweet during the GE2019 campaign that in my personal opinion if the SNP got a majority of MPs elected north of the border this would be a mandate for another referendum on Scottish independence & well the SNP absolutely trounced the other parties winning 47 of the 59 parliamentary seats in Scotland, but Boris Johnson doesn’t think the SNP winning approximately 80% of the parliamentary seats in Scotland is a mandate for another referendum on Scottish independence & he’s rejected SNP leader & Scottish First Minister Nicola Sturgeon’s request for powers to be transferred to the Scottish Government to call another independence referendum.

So where does Soph stand on the question of Scottish independence? Well as one might gather from my tweets in support of the SNP having a mandate to push for Scottish independence, I’m very much in favour of Scottish independence far more than I was around the time of the 2014 Scottish independence referendum, in fact I would have moved to Scotland by now if it wasn’t that I’m very much in love with & engaged to somebody who needs to live in or around London due to work commitments etc.

Scotland has been the region in the current configuration of the UK which has been the fiercest in opposition to Brexit & had the most progressive attitude towards the European Union & generally when it comes to internationalism, in fact the Scottish Nationalist Party are the party to have held executive power in the UK who’ve actually enacted the most progressive of progressive policies particularly where trans people are concerned which is why I’d not only vote for Scottish independence in any referendum if I lived north of the border but I’d rather vote SNP then Labour at any election. But more then anything it’s Scots giving the finger to Brexit & that UKIP & subsequently the Brexit Party being an electorally endangered species, which is why I yearn to move to Scotland & it’s Brexit which gives credence to the SNP wanting to hold another referendum on Scottish independence just as much as the number of MPs the SNP had elected at the last General Election, because Brexit has changed the constitutional position of the UK thus impinges upon the arrangement of the union & the other regions which make up the UK, it’s why I say I’m far more pro Scottish independence then I was 5 years ago.

Nicola Sturgeon

Nicola Sturgeon has always given me the impression of being a politician who’s extremely strong-willed & I do find Boris Johnson’s tone towards her & the Scottish National Party more than a tad patronising, she’s been First Minister of Scotland a great deal longer then Bozo misogynistic Johnson has been Prime Minister. Considering how strong-willed Sturgeon gives the impression of being, I seriously doubt she’ll cease hounding Bo Jo & the Tories about there being a second independence referendum, of course some might ask could we see a Catalan type situation in regards to Scotland & my answer is I seriously doubt it, but there again depending how atrocious the Tory government at Westminster gets I’m not discounting anything & if Nicola Sturgeon did decide to call a second independence referendum without seeking permission from Boris I’d not blame her in fact I’d support her.

Keir Starmer Suspiciously Takes An Early Leader in the Labour Leadership Election & The Mainstream News Media Have Begun Smearing Rebecca Long-Bailey, Oh & When Will Jess Phillips Either Piss Or Get Off The Potty

Keir Starmer appears to have taken an early lead over Rebecca Long-Bailey in the Labour leadership election if a YouGov poll published yesterday in the mainstream news media is to be believed, yeah if you actually believe a poll conducted by a market research company which was co-founded by Nadhim Zahawi who’s now a Tory MP & a member of Boris Johnson’s cabinet which was published in the mainstream news media who since the moment Labour lost the GE2019 have been touting Starmer as the favourite to take over from Jeremy Corbyn as Labour leader. I find the YouGov poll suggesting Starmer to be the frontrunner in the Labour leadership election somewhat fishy (then some!), supposedly a 1,000 Labour members were surveyed by YouGov yeah likely a 1,000 Labour members who’ve affiliations with Progress & Open Labour or some other Blairite groupings within Labour who have spent the best part of the last 5yrs undermining the Labour leadership. Yes Starmer has said he wants to build upon the socialist platform put forward by Jeremy Corbyn (continuity Corbynism) & has been making speeches about how Labour were right to have taken a radical approach to tackling austerity, but he’s merely attempting to play to the gallery, attempting to fool a Labour Party membership which is generally now on the left of the left when we all know he’s an out & out Blairite.

Keir Starmer

Keir Starmer hasn’t as yet officially announced his candidacy to stand in the Labour leadership election & nor has Rebecca Long-Bailey who’s the favoured continuity Corbynism candidate, but despite Rebecca Long-Bailey not having officially entered the Labour leadership election this hasn’t stopped the mainstream news media from launching a smear campaign against her because she is the continuity Corbynism candidate. Apparently the guy Rebecca Long-Bailey has enlisted to coordinate her campaign to be elected as Labour leader is a self-proclaimed Stalinist & Rebecca has said she would want to rule Labour with an Iron Fist, well at least we now know what Rebecca’s walk on music will be if she is elected Labour leader cue Lemmy & the boys.

Rebecca Long-Bailey

So far Emily Thornberry & Clive Lewis are the only two Labour MPs who’ve actually officially announced the their candidacy to stand in the Labour leadership election, Emily Thornberry has a history of making gaffes & well after all that’s happened over the past 5 years I just think I’m sure Emily has a good heart etc but no her being Labour leader, Clive Lewis seems to be a genuinely nice guy who’s on the left of the party but I don’t necessarily think nice guys always make great leaders.

Clive Lewis & Emily Thornberry

I did hear a Labour backbench MP say yesterday that no member of Corbyn’s frontbench team should be standing in the Labour leadership election as the entire shadow cabinet are collectively guilty for one of Labour’s worse ever General Election defeat which GE2019 definitely was, but if this is any kind of endorsement between the lines of Jess Phillips then please fuck off. Jess Phillips is another Labour MP who its rumoured to be thinking of entering the Labour leadership contest, sure she’s been dropping hints she might but this is what Jess archetypically does, she’s a publicity whore who yanks people’s chains to grab headlines but never follows through. All solidarity with Jess when it comes to all the shit she was subjected to by Carl from Swindon, aka Carl Benjamin, aka weirdo rapey tweet man, no female MP in fact no woman should ever be subjected to the rapey bullshit that fat slobby fuck subjected Jess Phillips to & why the fuck isn’t he in prison for it I don’t know, but my problem with Jess Phillips isn’t just she’s a self-serving attention seeking publicity whore, it’s also that she has endorsed WPUK a known transphobic hate group, yeah Jess is a TERF.

Jess Phillips

As yet I’m not sure as who I’ll back to be Labour leader, I had wanted Angela Rayner to stand to be the next Labour leader but it appears she’s made a pact with Rebecca Long-Bailey & will now only be standing for Deputy Labour leader the position Tom Watson vacated to take up a career as a gym instructor. One thing I’m clear about already clear in my mind about in regards to the Labour leadership election is that if Jess Philips does enter the contest & has any sniff of being elected leader or as consequence of a good showing in the leadership contest is rewarded with a position in the shadow cabinet, I will withdraw my support for Labour considering Philips is a TERF & for fucks sake there should not be any countenance of transphobia within Labour a party which purports to be the party of equality & social justice.

What A Fucking Dismal Decade For Those Of Us On The Political Left

So it’s the last few days, of the last month, of the last year, of this decade without a name, a time when people will reflect upon their favourite films or favourite TV series or favourite videogames of the past decade, Snowpiercer was my favourite film of the decade, my favourite videogame was Cities Skylines, as for my favourite TV series well I hate to be unoriginal as it’s likely the same as anybody else’s which of course is Game Of Thrones, but hey I’m not known for being a pop culture commentator or critic, I’m known as an uber sweary political commentator, so enough with bollocking on about how frigging awesome Snowpiercer & Game Of Thrones were & lets reflect in around about meandering style how dismal this decade has been for anybody who’s politically to the left.

Your truly with Alys the love of my life

Though my conclusion is it’s been a dismal decade for those of us on the left of politics, for me personally it’s actually been better than an okay decade, the two major highlights for me personally were successfully coming out as trans in 2010 & then meeting the love of my life Alys (aka Kim Justice) in 2017. There have definitely been more positive than negative highlights for me personally this past decade, from giving up smoking in 2011, to finally managing to move into a decent home in 2016, to surviving a heart attack in 2018 (yes surviving a heart attack is a positive), there was also going to the Houses of Parliament for the first time in 2013 to lobby MPs on the issue of trans rights & subsequently doing so several times, then there was finally getting to talk to my trans hero Caroline Cossey though it’s a shame she turned out to be an utter truscum bigoted cunt well they do say don’t they that you should never meet your heroes they’ll only ever disappoint you.

This has certainly been the decade when trans people became far more prevalent in the public eye, yeah this isn’t just the decade where I came out as trans but just about the entirety of the trans community has seemed to have come out from hiding rejoicing in trans being far more about liberation then it being a stigma. Sure as a consequence of trans people having been far more prevalent in the public eye & thus there being far more interest from the mainstream media in trans people, it’s given rise to the cult of the professional tranny celebrity which I don’t think is helpful in the long term for trans people, however I do acknowledge that trans people appearing in the mainstream media has helped push justice & equality for trans people further up the political agenda which is no bad thing. Yes with trans rights becoming far more of a hot topic politically it’s created a transphobic backlash this however was always going to be inevitable as it’s happened previously when the issue of justice & equality have come to the forefront of the political zeitgeist in regards to other sections of society, but when looking back overall at the past decade regards to the plight of trans people I do think its been mostly positive & one of the few things non transphobic progressive lefties can smile about.

Richard Garner a friend who I lost near the beginning of this decade but still miss

For me personally & for me as a trans woman yes this decade has been generally positive, however it’s not as if I didn’t lose people close to me along the way, in particularly I think of my friend Richard Garner who died of a drugs overdose in 2011, after all these years I still find myself in floods of tears thinking about Rick, yes our politics were different he a libertarian-anarchist & me a socialist but we often found common ground politically whether it was opposition to the war in Iraq or legalizing pot, he was also a massive supporter of the LGBTQ community & supported me when I came out as trans when many others round me didn’t, but what I miss most of all about Richard was he was just as Punk Rock as me liking all the same movies & music & definitely having the same fuck you attitude. The death of trans activist Lily Summers in 2016 is another bereavement I find myself getting moist eyes about, me & Lily were on different sides of the Labour Party but a great deal of what she warned about in regards Jeremy Corbyn’s leadership of the party has come true. I was recently reminded of a photo of me taken in a pub on New Year’s Eve 1999 along with 5 other drinking buddies, 20 years later I’m now the only one still alive, let us just say the deaths of those 5 chums weren’t due to natural causes, I don’t know sometimes I think I suffer from survivors guilt because I do often think how comes I’m still alive despite all the hard liquor I’ve drunk & all the illicit substances I’ve ingested.

Lemmy the world is duller place without him

This of course was the decade we lost Lemmy, he truly was the last of the troubadours who didn’t give a fuck, he just lived sex, drugs & rock ‘n’ roll to the fucking max. Lemmy was the very embodiment of sex, drugs & rock ‘n’ roll, definitely one of my ultimate rock & roll heroes & this world is a far duller place without him. Politically this was the decade we lost Charles Kennedy who I ironically once met in a bar sometime around 1998, he was a thoroughly decent man & in my opinion the last great leader of the Liberal Democrats, I remember back in 2003 he took a principled stance as Lib Dem leader in opposing Tony Blair’s ordering the involvement of the British military in the illegal invasion of Iraq, no other leader of a major parliamentary party did so & there were other prominent members of the Lib Dems such as former party leader Paddy Ashdown (who died last year) who supported the invasion of Iraq, so it was a brave stance he took & the right stance he took, he spoke for me & millions of people in opposition to Blair disgracing this country with the military misadventure in Iraq, Charles Kennedy might no longer be with us but I still applaud him for the stance he took.

I remember Lemmy died right at the end of 2015 & considering what a rock icon he was his death seems to have been a precursor to 2016 the year of the celebrity death what with the passing of David Bowie, Prince & George Michael etc. When historians look back upon this decade, 2016 will be seen as the pivotal year of this decade & not because it was the year Alan Rickman & Carrie Fisher died, but because it was the year of Brexit & Trump.

Back in 2009 I wrote an article for a news site which no longer exists, in which I essentially predicted the rise of the far-right during this decade, well both Brexit & Trump were a consequence of the rise of the far-right with all the hate & intolerance which comes with the far-right. You telling me that Brexit & Trump weren’t motivated by racism, Jesus fucking Christ don’t you recall the rhetoric which plumbed the depths of racist intolerance during both the EU referendum & the Trump presidential campaign?!?! Actually the truth as to what caused both Brexit & the election of Trump is the lack of investment by successive governments (including left of centre governments) in communities which had already spiralled ever downwards into being shitholes, people being constantly fucked in being denied any decent opportunity of bettering themselves & in waltzes the narcissistic egomaniac likes of Donald Trump & Nigel Farage telling the ill-educated poor & desperate living in those communities that its immigrants or people merely being different to them who are to blame for them being constantly fucked!

Brexit & Trump were a product of far-right opportunism, but that opportunism was given to them by the failure of the left, oh it’s definitely not been a good decade for political left that’s both the radical & mainstream left. Wonder whatever happened to the Occupy Movement, oh yeah they went the same way which Extinction Rebellion will be going, as in into historical obscurity having accomplished fuck all, I’m not saying street protests never accomplish anything because the Poll Taxes riots (& yes I was there) of nearly 30yrs ago were the beginning of the end for Margret Thatcher, but ultimately it will always be electoral politics which effects real change & how the mainstream left has failed spectacularly on that score this decade. Labour have lost 4 General Elections in a row this decade, sure the 2010 defeat was deserved as whole Blairite project had run its course & people wanted a change, the 2015 defeat well all Ed Miliband as Labour leader was offering was regurgitated Blairite shite which amounted to Tory lite & people just thought fuck it why not just have full fat Tory, some might want to somehow spin the 2017 defeat as some kind of victory yeah sure Labour did better then any pundit was expecting but it didn’t prevent the Tories in continuing to kill thousands more disabled people did it, as for the 2019 oh fuck we are all still reeling from that one being its one of the worse General Election defeats for Labour despite the Tories having been government for practically a decade.

Me with Jeremy Corbyn back in 2015

It seems a lifetime ago when upon that second Saturday in September of 2015, Jeremy Corbyn was elected Labour leader by a landslide & all us redder then red socialists got drunk as fuck thinking here starts the revolution, but here we less than 5yrs later & well the revolution is down the fucking shitter & on the brink of entering the 2020s I’ve never been as scared as I’m right now about my future as a consequence of being a disabled people. It’s disabled people who Labour have ultimately failed, I’m not saying disabled people should from now on never vote Labour again because of course they should continue voting Labour, what I’m saying is that Labour have failed disabled by not winning elections & thus not being in government & so not putting an end to the Tory genocide against disabled people.

The Official Tory policy when it comes to caring for the disabled

The most dismal thing of this dismal decade has been the scale of the Tory genocide against disabled people, yes I knew when the Tories were elected to government in 2010 they were going to make disabled people pay for the reckless behaviour of their banker chums which the decade previous had caused a global financial crisis. But I never thought it would result in the murder of a 100,000 plus disabled people nor the architect of the government program which has resulted in genocidal levels of disabled people being killed would be receiving a fucking knighthood in the 2020 New Year Honours!

I actually hate writing this kind of ‘year in review’ or ‘decade in review’ type article, not because often end up to be lengthy pieces, but there’s always stuff you forget to mention no matter how many notes you make. Dale Farm, the war in Libya, the riots across Britain in the summer of 2011, Chelsea Manning & Julian Assange, all important stuff which hasn’t gotten mentioned in depth with this review, I guess to sum up this review of the past decade would be to describe it as the stuff which had the biggest impact on me or just that I can’t write about everyfuckingthing which has happened this decade.

Lizzy Once Again Tells Us What HER Government Is Going To Be Doing

Royalists always tell you that Queen Lizzy does a damn difficult job, yeah because living in palaces with butlers & servants waiting on her hand & foot, travelling about in golden horse drawn carriages or (as was the case today) chauffer driven luxury cars, sitting on thrones pronouncing what HER government is going to be doing is a really difficult fucking job isn’t it. Oh what a chore it must have been for Lizzy have visited HER parliament for the second time in two months to tell us all what HER shitty poxy Tory government is going to do to further fuck up the lives of the masses now it has a thumping parliamentary majority.

Queen Lizzy at the State Opening Of Parliament

Oh there was you thinking it was the people’s parliament & it was the people’s government, no it’s all Lizzy’s because she happened to be squeezed out of the correct muff, at the correct time, with the correct silver shoved up her arse. I remember years ago Terry the Tory Troll who use to cyberstalk me in the comment sections of blogs I’ve previously written for, getting upset when I referred to Her Royal Highness Queen Elizabeth II as Queen Lizzy & getting annoyed at me being pedantic about Lizzy using the phrase “my government will…”, bitching that I knew exactly what that meant, yeah of course I know what that phrase really means but its an outmoded phrase from an outdated institution. There’s much I love about this country, rolling green hills & the White Cliffs of Dover, The Rolling Stones, fish & chips, Dr Who, the Jaguar E-Type, but I will NEVER grasp nor respect the concept of unaccountable hierarchical political power, I will FOREVER be a rabid republican so long as this country has a hereditary head-of-state not a head-of-state elected by the people.

There were more then 30 bills announced in the Queen’s Speech at the State Opening Of Parliament, unsurprisingly the Tory government’s program of legislation was dominated by Brexit, yeah because for fucks sake all we heard from Boris Johnson during the GE2019 campaign was ‘get Brexit done’ ad fucking nauseam, well if that wasn’t enough to have racist Brexiter gammon drowning in their own jiz then the news the Tories are to institute an Australian points-based immigration system definitely will have racist gammon choking on their own jiz whilst lounging about in mom’s basement as an Australian points-based immigration system has long been a wet dream of xenophobes & racists.

It was announced in Queen’s Speech that there was to be increased investment in the NHS, how good that might happen to sound the truth is even with the Tories proposed increase to the NHS budget, the NHS budget will still be lower in real terms then it was under the last Labour government in 2010.

Queen Lizzy also announced whilst upon her throne that the Tories were going to bring about tougher prison sentences for various offences, hmm I wonder if that includes tougher sentences for domestic abuse because if so Boris could find himself behind bars as rumour has it he’s in the habit of physically assaulting his girlfriend.

Despite Jeremy Corbyn being on his way out as Labour leader, he actually gave one of his best ever parliamentary performances as Labour leader ripping into the Queen’s speech & ripping apart the Tories horrific record in government over the past decade.

There was no mention in the Queen’s Speech of tackling poverty but hey that’s because the poor are easy fodder for the Tories to exploit so of course the Tories will do nothing to tackle poverty, neither was there any mention of tackling the homeless epidemic but hey shocked I’m not as its been well established the Tories seriously don’t give a shit about that issue.

Remember during the GE2019 campaign the Tories when not bollocking on about getting Brexit done made a big play about how they actually cared about environmentalism & were serious about tackling climate-change, well now the election is done & dusted they’re back to not giving a shit as there was fuck all mention in the Queen’s Speech about tackling climate-change by moving us to a zero-carbon economy.

So whole load more Tory bullshit causing further anguish & pain amongst the most vulnerable in society is essentially what was laid out today in the Queen’s Speech, oh more pain & suffering what a lovely prospect NOT!

It Pains Me Much To Say This About Jeremy Corbyn (But It Needs To Be Said!)

In reaction to the General Election results Jeremy Corbyn said “it was a disappointing night of results for Labour”, no Jeremy the 2019 General Elections results weren’t ‘a bit disappointing’ for Labour, the General election results were fucking disastrous (then some) for Labour.

Jeremy Corbyn has now said he wants to stay on as Labour leader to oversee a ‘period of reflection’ as to why Labour lost the election, hey Jeremy you want to reflect upon why Labour have so devastatingly lost this election then go stand in front of the bathroom mirror, because time & time again Labour activists were met on the doorstep with “I would vote Labour if it wasn’t for Jeremy Corbyn being leader”.

Corbyn & McDonnell & co are saying the reason Labour lost this election was because of Brexit, I don’t deny that people wanting to get Brexit done wasn’t a factor with this election, but Labour’s policy on Brexit didn’t help any, to say Labour were going to renegotiate a Brexit deal with the EU but then tell people to vote against it in a referendum is a nonsensical bullshit mess of a policy & people saw it for the mess what it was.

If it ain’t Brexit which the current Labour leadership is blaming for this General Election defeat then it’s the mainstream news media, yes most definitely the mainstream news media have continuously vilified & smeared & egregiously demonised Jeremy Corbyn since was elected leader of the Labour Party, but it doesn’t matter how much I or any other Labour support might bitch about how much the mainstream news media have been utter evil cunts in continuously demonising Jeremy Corbyn, whining about doesn’t get us anywhere.

it pains me to say but Jeremy is part of problem for Labour not its solution

The harsh reality is the accusations of antisemitism have hang over Jeremy like a bad cloud & it’s toxic to the Labour Party, I certainly do not believe Jeremy Corbyn to be antisemitic nor an IRA sympathiser or anything else the mainstream news media have smeared him as & I’ve written countless articles defending Jeremy from the mainstream-news-media’s bullshit smears spun against him, but it doesn’t matter how much I think Jeremy has been a courageously compassionate & principled man because ultimately it’s what the voters think of Jeremy Corbyn & Labour which is of importance & the GE2019 result speak for themselves on that matter.

Jeremy Corbyn should have resigned already, he should have gone this morning, the 1983 General Election result under the leadership of Michael Foot is often considered as an utter fucking disaster for Labour, well Jeremy Corbyn has surpassed Michael Foot when it comes to leading Labour to a mitigating fucking electoral disaster, at least Michael Foot had the courtesy to take responsible for the ’83 result & fucked off pronto.

I know some will accuse me of being too quick to throw Jeremy under the bus for the defeat of Labour at this General Election or make out that I’m just in shock regards the GE2019 election result & should give myself a few days before I write anything meaningful or some other bullshit to dismiss what I’m saying here. Hey do you know who I truly blame for the GE2019 result? I blame myself as I twice voted for Jeremy Corbyn to be party leader & was one of his most ferocious cheerleaders, but here we are in the cold light of day & I’ve not only just helped to inflict further misery upon my life but on the lives of millions. The people of places such as Darlington & Workington & numerous other northern towns which were devastated by Thatcherism back in the 1980s, have just given a Thatcherite government a hefty parliamentary majority & many living in in such places will seriously come to regret it, but I as well as the Labour Party need to take responsibility for the regret they will come to feel in time.

I was once one of Jeremy’s most ferocious cheerleaders

I know some Corbyn supporters will no doubt point to the 2017 General Election where Labour gained seats under the leadership of Jeremy Corbyn, well with the gift of hindsight me thinks that had more to do with Theresa May’s woeful performance as Tory leader then anything else, oh & Labour’s 2017 General Election manifesto was radical but not so radical it frightened people into thinking if they voted Labour they’ll be next be living under the rule of Marxist doctrine, you see before anybody accuses me of suddenly becoming some sell out watered down piss weak social-democrat that’s not in fact what I’m advocating at all, Jeremy Corbyn ostensibly won the argument on austerity, there were a lot of great ideas proposed by Labour with Jeremy as leader which have a great deal of public support such as axing tuition fees & renationalising the railways but the bottom line is Jeremy Corbyn was unable to sell those great ideas because of his past associations being toxic as fuck.

Even If Jeremy Corbyn Doesn’t Win The Election He’s Won The Argument

Today is the 39th anniversary of the murder of the man who composed what’s long become my own personal anthem, however when I think of Jeremy Corbyn & John Lennon songs it’s not Working Class Hero which comes to mind but the song Imagine, with lyrics such as “No need for greed or hunger” & “Imagine all the people sharing all the world” Imagine really does seem to reflect Corbyn’s vision for the world & yes you might think him a dreamer but he’s certainly not the only one.

Anytime I’ve heard Imagine over the past couple of years, I’ve immediately thought all of which Jeremy Corbyn has spent a lifetime campaigning for, so much so it I pretty much started thinking it was Jeremy Corbyn who composed & sung Imagine & forgetting that it was in fact John Lennon who did. I obviously can’t say for sure if John Lennon was alive today he’d have been supportive of Jeremy Corbyn but knowing all I know about John Lennon & considering the radical politics he was involved with in the 60s/70s there’s good chance might have, what I can say with absolute certainty is even Jeremy Corbyn doesn’t win the General Election this coming Thursday he’s won the argument.

Oh sure we all know it’s utter bullshit that the Tories will follow through when it comes to investing billions in public services if they win GE2019, but just the fact the Tories are pledging to invest billions in health & education & policing, that alone is an admission by the Tories they’ve lost the argument when it comes to austerity & it’s been Jeremy Corbyn who’s spearheaded the argument against austerity.

Though Jeremy Corbyn & Labour might have won the argument when comes to austerity, the issue might now be if the Tories do win this coming Thursday & do shake the magic money tree when it will only be in an effort to placate the middle-classes, in other words money won’t be invested where it’s most desperately needed, we’ll still have more foodbanks then branches of McDonalds, we’ll still have record numbers sleeping rough on the streets of Britain, we’ll still have Universal Credit contributing to killing off the most vulnerable. The only way to ensure money is invested where it ought to be invested to prevent people from going hungry & homelessness is to get Labour elected to government this coming Thursday, but everybody already seems way busy writing Labour’s GE2019 obituary.

Remember GE2017 when pretty much universally all self-important political pundits in the mainstream news media were all with their arrogant smugness writing off Labour, busying themselves compiling obituaries & autopsies about Labour’s inevitable battering at the ballot box long before election day, yeah & come election day they weren’t expecting Labour to increase it’s number of seats & in doing so winning parliamentary seats in places where Labour hadn’t previously won parliamentary seats. Right now we are pretty much at the same point we were with GE2017 & again all the self-important Westminster-bubble dwelling political pundits in the mainstream news media with their smug arrogance are already busying themselves penning obituaries & autopsies regards Labour’s hefty defeat this Thursday, despite the fact that Labour have closed the gap on the Tories in opinion polls published over the past few days & if the reflection of things tightening electorally in those opinion polls is at all accurate then we are in hung parliamentary territory thus it’s likely GE2019 could still result in there being some kind of Labour/SNP coalition government.

yes its still possible Jeremy Corbyn could be PM

All I’ve heard from political pundits in the mainstream news media over the past few days is will Jeremy Corbyn resign as Labour leader immediately after Labour’s crushing defeat on Thursday & how will a John McDonnell leadership be different & will he be grooming Rebecca Long-Bailey to take over as leader if he’s only to be an interim leader, it’s not as if I think John McDonnell wouldn’t make a good Labour leader but hey the election ain’t happened yet & you’re a fool to seriously predict with certainty it’s outcome, you’d have thought political pundits in the mainstream news media would have learnt this from GE2017.

If sadly Labour do lose the General Election on Thursday then at least Jeremy Corbyn can step down from the leadership of the party knowing he’s forever changed the party for the better. Yet another argument Corbyn won was with the Labour Party itself, seems a lifetime ago the party was mired by the dogma of Blairite Toryism, but Corbyn won the argument with his election as party leader & from that moment on with the direction in which he has steered Labour, jettisoning mediocrity of Blairite Toryism & reigniting Labour’s socialist fire, ensuring the party no longer attempts to mimic the Tories & run scared from any association with the term socialism in attempting to win power but instead with fanfare proudly heralding Labour is a socialist party offering upfront honest socialist solutions. I somehow can’t see in defeat Labour will once again be resorting back to thinking the only way they’ll ever win power is to mimic the Tories no matter how much the party might hiss & whine about doing so, because Labour is definitely no longer their party & the majority of the party don’t want Labour to be that party, the majority of the party membership are now those who’ve been inspired by Jeremy Corbyn’s socialist vision is possible & will want Labour to continue in offering an alternative to the Tories which is steadfastly socialist.

Green Party WTF?!?!

Zionist troll Joseph Cohen apparently seems to think Jeremy Corbyn pledging to deliver a Green New Deal is a bad thing?!?! You’d have thought Joseph being an Orthodox Jew might be more concerned with the Green Party wanting to ban Halal slaughter then worrying about any inconsistencies there’s been in the past regarding Jeremy Corbyn’s eco credentials, being as the method of Halal slaughter is practically the same as Kosher slaughter. With the Green Party pledging to ban Halal slaughter, I’m surprised that the king of the gammon Tommy Robinson hasn’t endorsed the Greens instead of endorsing Boris Johnson, though unlike Boris Johnson I think the Green Party wouldn’t welcome a public endorsement from a racist thug who’s also a convicted criminal.

David Cameron when Prime Minister back in 2011 was talking tough in taking military action against Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi whilst touring the Middle East selling arms to other despots, but it wasn’t piss weak feeble Ed Miliband the then leader of the Labour Party who criticised Cameron for his utter hypocrisy, no its was Green MP Caroline Lucas who at the time was also the party’s leader & I remember thinking fuck yeah finally a party leader saying what I want to be said in parliament.

Caroline Lucas

I still think Caroline Lucas is frigging awesome for much of what she says & being somewhat of a hippy at heart I still have a soft spot for the Green Party, but I have to confess these days I’m more than a tad disappointed in the Green Party. When at the beginning of this decade the Liberal Democrats showed their true colours by jumping into bed with the Tories & Labour were piss weak as a consequence from still being under the heel of Blairite toryism, I thought there was an opportunity for the Green Party to capture the progressive vote in a similar manner to how at the time UKIP were capturing a large section of the hard right vote due to David Cameron having steered the Tories to being more socially liberal, but for whatever reason the Green Party didn’t capitalise on this opportunity. Labour are now of course a very different political beast to what they were at the beginning of the decade, having jettisoned the dogma of Blairite toryism & rediscovered its socialist soul largely thanks to Jeremy Corbyn being elected in 2015 as party leader, Labour are now a party vocally opposed to the British government selling weapons to fuck awful despotic regimes such there is in Saudi Arabia & the party are campaigning this General Election upon the most eco-socialist manifesto ever put forward by any major British political party, but none of this good enough for the Green Party who’d rather collude with yellow Tories.

A few years back I remember there was Californian city (can’t remember exactly what city it was) who had wanted to fuel its entire bus network with biodiesel but the local Green Party were loudly objecting to this because animal fat would be used as component in the production of the biodiesel which was going to be used, now okay this was a branch of the Green Party in the United States but this story from California adequately illustrates the typical mentally you’ll find with Green Party activists & supporters this side of the pond, a mentality as the old saying goes of cutting their noses off to spite their faces. The Green Party really do seem to love being smug sanctimonious fuckers giving it large with righteous-indignation to feel superior & they’ve certainly been at it with the smug righteous-indignation when it comes to attacking Labour’s manifesto because it’s not fastidious on point for them, despite the fact Labour are the only party are who proposing a Green New Deal & could actually could deliver a Green New Deal.

It’s not going to be the Lib Dems who are going to be able to deliver a Green New Deal, its not the Lib Dems who are going to enact measures which will usher in a green industrial revolution creating hundreds of thousands of new jobs & make British industry the envy of the world when it comes to cutting edge eco technology, it’s not going not going to be the Lib Dems who are going to help deliver a zero carbon economy by 2030, because the Lib Dems aren’t going to be forming the next government but Labour could very well deliver Green New Deal with all the awesome positive eco benefits which will come from it as there’s still a realistic chance of Labour forming the next government post the General Election towards the end of next week, yet it’s the Lib Dems who the Greens have entered an electoral pact with.

The Green Party at the 2017 General Election stood candidates down in various constituencies to give a better chance of Labour parliamentary candidates getting elected, which is understandable considering the large overlap there is with the ethos & policies of both parties, but I have to scratch my head at Green Party going into an electoral pact with the Lib Dems regardless of the Lib Dems betraying the progressive vote in the aftermath of the 2010 General Election but because it’s kind of obvious to me that Jo Swinson is trying to revert the Lib Dems back to being a classical-liberal party rather than appearing to be the social-liberal (left-liberal) party people have perceived the Lib Dems to be & well classical-liberalism is antithetical to eco-socialism. Okay I get the Green Party went into an electoral pact with the Lib Dems along with the Welsh nationalists to help get MPs elected who’ll categorically oppose Brexit, but you’d think the Green Party would have been of the opinion that climate-change was a far more important issue then fucking Brexit because the fact is climate-change is a far more important issue then Brexit as it threatens the entire planet, me thinks Green Party peeps have some serious thinking to do prior to December 12th.

Tory Lies & Lack Of Responsibility In The Aftermath Of The London Bridge Terrorist Attack

In the hours that followed Friday’s terrorist attack on London Bridge in which the terrorist responsible Usman Khan was shot dead by armed police, far-right gammon were circulating on social-media a fake Jeremy Corbyn tweet which implied Corbyn was critical of the police shooting dead Usman Khan. Though it might have been gullible gammon who were circulating a fake Jeremy Corbyn tweet implying he was critical of the police shooting dead Usman Khan, I strongly suspect the fake tweet originated from whatever dark propaganda department there is within the Tory election campaign apparatus, it’s not as it would be the first time during the GE2019 that the Tories had been spreading fake news.

Corbyn in the past has been critical of the police’s shoot to kill policy & I’m glad he has been particularly when thinking of cases such as Jean Charles de Menezes & Mark Duggan, but in regards to the police shooting dead Usman Khan, well if anybody had bothered to tune in this morning to Sky News’s Sophy Ridge On Sunday program they’d of seen an interview with Jeremy Corbyn where he said the police were perfectly justified in shooting dead Usman Khan. The police were indeed perfectly justified in shooting Usman Khan as he had already killed two people & looked as if he was going to try to kill more by triggering what looked very much like a suicide vest, there are however serious questions surrounding why the security services weren’t keeping closer tabs on an individual who’d already been convicted of terrorist offences & in fact had been sentenced to indeterminate prison sentence, so yeah why the fuck was this loon allowed out of prison as early as he had been? Well you’re not going to get any credible answers from Boris Johnson as his only answer for the London Bridge terrorist attack is to blame Labour.

Boris Johnson on this morning’s edition of The Andrew Marr Show

Whilst Jeremy Corbyn was being interviewed this morning on Sky News’s Sophy Ridge On Sunday, Boris Johnson was being interviewed on the BBC’s Andrew Marr Show & oh fuck me it was a car crash interview, some people might remember Piers Morgan’s interview on CNN with far-right shock Alex Jones from a few years back, well Marr’s interview with Boris was reminiscent as Boris essentially loudly waffled on regardless of any questions Marr was asking him refusing to take any responsibility for Tory government possibly having been able to prevent the London Bridge terrorist attack rather he did what the Tories always seem to do which of course is to blame Labour, this is despite the fact Labour haven’t been in government for almost a decade. Hey it wasn’t Labour who drastically cut policing numbers, it wasn’t Labour who have been trying to privatise the Probation Service, it’s not been Labour who’ve had a decade to bring tougher terrorist prevention & yet haven’t, all of which we can now see is putting lives at risk, I mean what nutty brown crazed capitalist bullshit is outsourcing the probation service what next out sourcing GCHQ to a Chinese telecoms corporation.

Boris Johnson is using the London Bridge terrorist attack to propose tougher prison sentences for terrorists which I doubt many would disagree with, oh wait you thought that Boris & the Tories weren’t going to use the London Bridge terrorist attack to electioneer, hey never be foolish enough to hold the Tories in high esteem nor foolish enough to think the Tories wouldn’t go as far as killing people to win an election, don’t you find it suspiciously coincidental & convenient that during both the 2017 & 2019 General Election campaigns when the Tories are starting to coming under pressure & are starting to sag in the polls there are suddenly terrorist attacks for them to take advantage of on the election trail. Even if the London Bridge terrorist attack wasn’t a false flag & I’m definitely not saying it was just posing the question it could be, at the very least the Tory government with Boris Johnson at the helm have failed to in the first duty of any government which is keeping its citizens safe because they’ve wanted to do policing & security on the cheap.

Did The Tories Allow The London Bridge Attack To Happen?

It’s now been revealed that Usman Khan the individual responsible for yesterday’s terrorist attack on London Bridge which killed two people was a convicted terrorist who’d been released from prison in 2018. Considering Usman Khan had been a convicted terrorist & thus would have been a radical Islamist lunatic known to the security services, I doubt I’m the only one who’s asking why the fuck weren’t the security services keeping tabs on this madman?!?!

Was Usman Khan a helpful patsy for Boris & the Tories?

Well isn’t yesterday’s terrorist attack a convenient GE2019 campaign gift for Boris Johnson & the Tories to get all high & mighty when it comes to law & order, oh & of course poke Labour for supposedly being weak on the issue, despite the fact its been the Tories who’ve drastically cut police numbers thus putting lives endanger & so might also explain why the security services haven’t been able to keep tabs on potential terrorist lunatics such as Usman Khan.

There’s possibly another explanation as to why the security services might have not been keeping tabs on a terrorist lunatic such as Usman Khan, there’s evidence that throughout recent history of various governments having known of imminent terrorist attacks but did nothing to prevent those terrorist attacks from going ahead as it was political expedient in aiding nefarious agendas, we know prior to 7/7 bombing the security services had kept tabs on members of the terrorist cell which carried out the attack, it’s now a matter of record that the Bush administration had been briefed in the summer of a 2001 there was highly likely to be a terrorist act in the autumn of that year involving aircraft, so no I don’t think it’s a fucking ridiculous notion to suggest that Boris & the Tories would let a terrorist attack go ahead to aid them winning a General Election.

I find it more than a coincidence that both with the 2017 & 2019 General Election campaigns just when the Tories are coming under fire from all quarters there have been terrorist attacks, I find it more than convenient that when Theresa May’s & now Boris Johnson’s leadership come under question there are terrorist attacks to distract the attention of the masses & for them to then pose as the strongmen in getting serious about combatting terrorism etc, I mean just in the last few days Boris has come under fire for avoiding media scrutiny by ducking TV debates & interviews but now the mainstream news media is talking about the London Bridge attack with Boris bollocking on about getting tough on terrorism.

Before anybody accuses me of going full Alex Jones I’d point out that I’m not saying yesterday’s London Bridge attack was a definite false flag, I’m merely pondering whether it could have been a false flag & if you think its somewhat sick or nuts to ponder whether the London Bridge attack was a false flag then you are possibly way too trusting of government & the mainstream news media.
